Hey! I’m Britt.
In 2017, I quit my 9-5 marketing job to become a work-from-home mom and I’ve been creating a new normal ever since. During the naptime hustle, I’m a health writer and content creator who is passionate about creating a space where people feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are—in all their imperfect, awkward glory.
That Awkward Mama is a safe space for mamas to connect and share with one another as we stumble through motherhood together.
If you browse through this blog, you’ll see some things I love and am totally excited to share with you —recipes, DIY projects and more. But you’ll also see I cover some pretty dark topics, like postpartum depression and miscarriage. In sharing my own pain and struggles, I hope to be a voice for those who feel like they’re alone in theirs.
I believe far too many of us suffer in silence, but we all have a story to share.
And that’s the mission behind That Awkward Mama.
Embrace the awkward, mama. I hope you’ll be able to share a bit about yourself with me, too.
Love and awkward hugs,
Britt ❤
